Whilst photographing the progress of a local housing project, an eye witness told me that yesterday, various items were washed ashore from the beached container ship MSC Napoli. The ship was run aground on January 21st in Lyme bay, Dorset, whilst being towed to Portland harbour, and it took this long for articles to be carried by the tide to Boscombe beach. Apparently, there were plenty of 'scavengers' picking up anything of use, plus a certain amount of oil and dead sea birds.
The image is of the Boscombe Spa Village building site.
