My car is in for its annual MOT test, and for the 45 minutes or so while it is being scrutinised I wander the alley at the back of the garage in search of something to photograph. I'm always drawn to images of decay, as with the white painted bricks, stained by rust from a leaking gutter, or the boarded up window of the empty factory that has subsequently become the canvas of the graffiti artist.
