Stanpit Marsh - formed by the confluence of the Dorset Stour and Hampshire Avon - apart from being a designated nature reserve, boasts the prototype Bailey Bridge. It is from this structure that I take the photograph of Christchurch Priory, overlooking Mother Sillar's Channel.
