Tide circles: made by aliens? The photograph, made at 6:20 this morning, shows curious formations in the sands once the tide had retreated in Poole Harbour, Dorset.
I've seen the markings before, and the "aliens" remark is made with my toungue firmly in cheek; but the patterns remain a curiosity for which I have no compelling hypothisis, other than they are produced by tidal action - not man-made.
