The nesting swans (see April) had eventually laid seven eggs. Today, those eggs were hatching, and by the time the photograph was made at 6:30 this morning, there were five cygnets visible. I waited a further three hours for the mother to reveal the newly hatched birds to the world again, and after getting more shots decided to leave the swans in peace.
